Oh that is cute!!! Hope your run is fun (I'll be glad when I can just get some good fast walking in again so will my dog).
I'm worried about my cat (also named Shadow). I haven't brought him or the Guinea Pig up to the new house yet since my son and husband are still painting. He goes outdoors and the new neighborhood could be a problem. The houses are really close together (which is taking some getting used to). The one neighbors like animals and have two dogs and an indoor cat. They also really like the birds and bunnies in the yard and my cat would have a field day. The other neighbors give me the impression they are not animal people at all so if my cat went in their yard they probably wouldn't be happy. I'm going to try and keep him in but it's not going to be easy. Maybe this website will help.

Sounds like it may be difficult transition for Shadow. My daughter had a similar problem with her cat when they last moved. I think her cat still sneeks out now and then, but they've been there five years now, so something is working!

I love the sound of a cat's purring. We had a cat for over 14 years and she somehow always knew when to come and climb on the bed with us so that the sound of her contentment would help put me to sleep. She was an amazing cat!!!
Last Thursday a kitten found her way into our household. At nighttime she curls around the back of my neck demanding a few scratches behind the ear as she drifts off to sleep... purring.

We had a cat for ten years as well, taking our children from 7 to 17. Although that was the only cat we ever owned, my children now consider us to have always been a "cat" family and both have cats, not dogs.

'Mommy, this cat's boiling!!!!!!"
Just not purrrfectly.
I thnk that happens just about the time the cat pulls out the pocket watch on a chain and starts waving it back and forth...
Thanks for the great gift...Not only does it purr...It looks like my cat Twinkletoes...Thanks for thinking of Sherry and me.
